The Continental ContiCrossContact Winter 275/45 R21 110V XL FR 3PMSF is the ideal choice for fast, high performance 4x4. It provides first rate handling and outstanding braking performance thanks to its cutting-edge rubber compound. Optimized outboard shoulder block with dense siping provides remarkable behaviour on dry roads. With broad longitudinal grooves and specific tread patterns on the outboard shoulder block, water is quickly drained, which ensures a wide safety margin in case of aquaplaning.

Handling on wet and snowy roads

The idea of adorning the tire with sipes allows it to gain better stability and behave better towards the direct distribution of forces.

The structure of the tire maximizes water capture and its evacuation.

I drove 40,000 km with the same set of tires. It's the first time I've kept them for so long. That's why I insisted on putting the same ones back on. I drive all year round with these winter tires.

Came as factory fit and have been used throughout the year. Seem to suite this small 4x4 very well, good levels of grip in all conditions, temperatures and on tarmac plus grass/dirt track. Front tyres are starting to show some signs of wear after 9k miles and fuel consumption is a little high but the TwinAir engine is not known for economy, particularly in hilly terrain, so cannot necessarily put that down to the tyres. Will be replacing like for like if still on the market when the time comes.
