The Continental WinterContact TS860 tyre combines a new Cool Chili rubber compound and a new tread design. This provides reduced braking distances in rain or snow and improved traction and grip in winter conditions.
The new sipe concept includes vertical and horizontal channels.
These passages are placed under the blocks, thus allowing water to be drained under compression and shortening the braking distance on icy ground.
The new rubber compound based on silica and natural resin allows maximizing tire grip in winter conditions. This mix allows the tire to maintain its flexibility at low temperatures, which results in excellent grip and optimal braking distance in wet conditions.
The 3D sipe allows the tire to better adhere to the road and ensure a better transmission power in order to achieve perfect maneuvers on snowy roads.

It's a bit difficult to evaluate the tires for which I have paid but not received. I haven't received the tires at all and haven't received a refund either. I have been in contact with a Katrien, but nothing really happens.

Pleasant and quiet driving experience. Fast delivery - but the DPD carrier could have sent a message about the delivery of the tires. That seems reassuring to me.

Replacement purchase, as a fabric breakage (without cause) occurred in one tire (Conti TS 850). The lifespan assessment is based on experiences with the TS 850.
