High-end summer tire for SUVs and compact cars of high and medium categories, the Competus H/P 2 from Lassa, a steel-belted radial, combines comfort and performance. The new pattern of its tread (compared to the Competus H/P 1), includes 4 central ribs that quickly and efficiently evacuate water for increased performance on wet ground. The irrigation pattern is completed by lateral sipes. The center of the tread is in M for better road holding in all circumstances. The rubber compound and structure have also been revised: reinforced rubber, new carcass, reduced inner liner. The tire thus gives the vehicle an extraordinary balance, perfect agility in turns and excellent braking capacity.
