Designed specifically for electric vehicles, which are typically heavier than their petrol counterparts, the AS-3 EV features a high-strength belt cover. This design enhances tyre stiffness and reduces rolling resistance, contributing to energy efficiency. Additionally, the chamfered lateral grooves on the tread shoulder prevent pattern block deformation over time.

The tyres are generally very good, they slightly reduce fuel consumption as they are designed for EV cars, but of course, their lifespan is no longer than that of normal tyres. They lasted me 13k km, they could be pushed further but I change tyres at 3mm-2.8mm, not at 1.6mm, so that reduces their lifespan but it is much safer that way. In heavy rain, they have really surprised me, I only had to be careful when it first starts raining or when it's humid, as that is when these tyres tend to skid quite a bit. Other than that and the short lifespan (although all tyres last me the same), I am quite satisfied but I wouldn't buy them again because there are better options for a lower price.
